Resolved: Issues reauthorising Instagram

The issue has now been resolved.

Our changes have been approved by Instagram and we have updated InstaShop to once again allow your posts to be fetched from Instagram. The process has slightly changed, please follow the steps below to fetch your posts.

  1. Ensure you are logged into Instagram using the account you wish to fetch posts from within the same browser you are using InstaShop.
  2. Click the refresh button in the top right of the 'Manage Feed' page.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Due to the sudden restrictions put in place by Instagram automatically fetching new posts is currently unavailable, we are working to find a solution for this as soon as possible.

We are aware some clients are having issues reauthorising their Instagram accounts.

This issue has been caused by a change made by Instagram. The change was sudden and without warning, many businesses have been affected by this, InstaShop is not the only one.

We have worked hard and developed a solution to the problem, however we are waiting on Instagram to approve the changes. We are confident they will be approved and InstaShop will be up and running again soon. Unfortunately we cannot provide a timeline on when Instagram will approve the changes as they have given us no indication on how long the process will take.
